 The Underground 2010-11
The Rowayton Underground Youth Center is an RCA sponsored program held in the lower level of the Rowayton Community Center. It provides a safe and supervised venue where our middle-school kids (6th, 7th, 8th graders) can socialize with friends one Friday night a month, with adult chaperones. There are board games, bingo games, cards, a pool table, air hockey and foosball. Weather permitting there are also outdoor activities such as basketball, soccer, and touch football.
6th graders will meet one Friday night a month, and 7th/8th graders will meet together one Friday night a month, from 6:30-8:30pm. A one-time registration fee of $100 for the year (Oct.-June) pays for staff as well as a pizza dinner each night. Also, there will be two local "field trips" off site in the spring, and a year-end Bayley beach picnic in June.

While this program is primarily for 6th taxing district residents, school friends residing outside of Rowayton are welcome to join in, but must be sponsored by a resident.
The opening night for 6th graders is Friday, October 21st, 6:30-8:30pm. The opening night for 7th/8th graders is Friday, October 28th, 6:30-8:30pm. Please download the two forms above (registration and code of conduct) and bring to registration night along with payment.
