Goodbye to Joan

As many of you already know, Joan Ward will be retiring in March after 37 years of dedicated service to Rowayton
Elementary School. She has requested that we allow her to leave quietly without a large party, parade or fanfare.

Mrs. Ward has been particularly fond of the courtyard at the school throughout the years that she has worked there.
In her spirit, we wish to create a lovely teak sitting area in her honor. If you would like to participate in this precious gift
to Mrs. Ward, the school and our community, please do so by sending a check made out to "Rowayton School PTA-JW fund".
Please feel free to include a card or note to Mrs. Ward, but please do not include your check in a sealed envelope.

You can drop the check off in the President's box at the school, or mail it to:

Marilou Stadler
4 Rowayton Court
Rowayton, CT 06853

PLEASE DO NOT GIVE YOUR CHECKS TO MRS. WARD. (Thanks)

If you would like to meet up with Marilou Stadler and give her cash, you can make arrangements by calling 831-0450
or emailing her at auntlouantlou@yahoo.com

We will also be making a wonderful scrapbook for Mrs. Ward full of letters and photos. If you have anything to contribute, i.e.,
letters from your children, photos, or notes from yourself, you can also give this to Mary Lou.

Also, Let Marilou know if you would like to participate in assembling the
scrapbook(s). We will communicate the date that we will get together through the email.

Thank You again for your support and kindness,

Nancy and Cathy
