Downtown Rowayton will come alive with twinkling lights at the seventh annual holiday town lighting. Festivities begin at Pinkney Park with the lighting of the Christmas tree and caroling led by Brien McMahon’s award winning Holiday Chamber Choir. Then stroll down Rowayton Avenue and enjoy the new holiday lights, thanks to funding from the Sixth Taxing District, and window decorations created by the RCA, local businesses and residents. Enjoy a warm beverage and snack compliments of the Rowayton Market. And don’t forget to cast your vote for the best eggnog in Rowayton (download an eggnog entry form here). Keep your eyes to the sky; there may even be a Santa sighting! Rowayton Ave. will be blocked between Wilson Ave. and the Fire House, so please come early if you’re driving.
