RCA Holiday Lighting & Egg Nog Contest

Sunday, December 5th, 2010 4:30-6:00pm

Downtown Rowayton will come alive with twinkling lights at the annual holiday town lighting. Festivities begin at Pinkney Park with the lighting of the Christmas tree and caroling led by Brien McMahon's award winning Holiday Chamber Choir. Afterward, stroll down Rowayton Avenue to view the window decorations created by local merchants. Then enjoy a warm beverage and snack compliments of the Rowayton Market.

Rowayton Avenue will be blocked between Wilson Avenue and the Fire House, so please come early if you are driving.

“Light Up Rowayton” Egg Nog Contest -
Sunday, December 5th at 5:15pm

It will be held in front of the Rowayton Market immediately after the tree lighting. Participants should deliver their egg nog containers prior to the ceremony and their submissions will be guarded until the event starts.

Tables, chairs, cups, cookies, and napkins will be supplied. All visitors older than 21 can sample the egg nog and will be asked to complete a voting ballot indicating their first, second and third choices.

At 5:45pm the winner will be announced. The top three winners will receive special prizes.
