Little League in Full Swing

Rowayton Little League accepts children who have turned 5 before April 31, 2008 and who have not yet turned 13 by April 31, 2008. There are four levels: T-ball, Community League, Minor League and Major League. Girls Softball, now in their second season, is for girls ages 11-14. Girls who have reached the age of 11 by Dec 31, 2007 are eligible for the Majors division and the Juniors division is for girls who are 13 and 14. Games and practices are held at Bayley Beach.

Fees for the 2008 season are $80 for T-ball, $95 for Community League and $125 for the Major and Minor Leagues. A late fee of $25 will be charged for any child not registered by March 8, 2008.

The Little League program is always looking for volunteers who would like to serve as Coaches, Assistant Coaches or just offer general help.

Although registration for Little League has passed, please contact John Massey, Rowayton Little League Board President at 838-5298 for all information. Also, look out for a new Rowayton “All Sports” website that will include scheduling and individual league information in addition to a more efficient registration process.
